My Girl Sings!

We spent a lot of time waiting for Polaroids

and fussing with shoelaces

and zippers and buttons

We spent a lot of time going up and down ladders

and ordering lunches

and moving things about

We spent a lot of time in a dark room at first

and later not at all

But we seldom had words

We spent a lot of time together

and I’ll miss that

My grandfather died of cancer when my mother was seven. He was a painter and paperhanger, which is obvious from his card. Check the phone number.

A Pause

As I recall on this day the boys were running around the front yard in hyper-speed. I asked them to pose for a picture, they paused on the front steps for roughly a second and I snapped this and they were off again.

I got up on a chair to shoot this in our dining room. Probably not setting a good example.

Window Washer

The windows at the studio being washed last Thursday.  Jenn and I were there doing some Capture One & Photoshop work.
