Graham with his morning coffee.

I got up on a chair to shoot this in our dining room. Probably not setting a good example.

Young Nols

I took a series of photos of Nolan, back in the day.  He was much more animated as a youngster.

bodyboard

While shooting a project at my studio I happened to notice the ironing board set up against a stack of particle board next to a dress form in, of all places, the bathroom. I seized on the moment and quickly photographed the event before anything moved. Here is the result for all to see.

A Seat in Hawaii.

Wouldn't it be nice to be sitting in this chair, enjoying a tropic breeze, with a Singapore Sling in hand?

Jukebox

When I was a kid I was fascinated by jukeboxes (for you youngsters it's an early form of the iPod). This was taken at Cedar Point, an amusement park in Ohio. I'm pretty sure my parents had to drag me away screaming.

Hobson's Boots.

My son Hobson joined the Marines, to the dismay of his parents, right out of high school. He trained at Pendleton, near San Diego, then Virginia and then was stationed in Twenty-nine Palms. He did one seven month tour in Iraq which was one of the most grueling times of our lives. He's out now, married and lives close by. In fact he and I make beer together. Some of it has even been delicious.

Another Cover

Another LP from my collection. I like the cover and the music's not bad either. It's from 1961 and the liner notes include "Selig Furniture courtesy of Bloomingdale's. Clothes by Pantino, Inc."

Coffee Time

Love this album cover from my collection of vinyl. I guess because it reminds me of my childhood when my parents would have friends over for bridge club. The house would be loud with laughter and full of smoke. And always a record on the stereo console.

My ET4 X 4

This is my Vespa ET4 that I ride around Seattle on, sometimes even in the rain.
