My grandfather died of cancer when my mother was seven. He was a painter and paperhanger, which is obvious from his card. Check the phone number.

A Pause

As I recall on this day the boys were running around the front yard in hyper-speed. I asked them to pose for a picture, they paused on the front steps for roughly a second and I snapped this and they were off again.

While shooting a project at my studio I happened to notice the ironing board set up against a stack of particle board next to a dress form in, of all places, the bathroom. I seized on the moment and quickly photographed the event before anything moved. Here is the result for all to see.
